Hi! I am Holly, welcome to my food blog! This blog is my happy place where I can write about and share my biggest and most loved hobby: food. Cooking it, eating it and pressuring my friends into eating my creations too. I’ve had no formal training when it comes to food (probably glaringly obvious) but I passionately love food and creating with it. From baking cakes and bread to making pasta or ice cream, I just love it all. Another very big love of mine is vegetables, I just can’t get enough of them. Whilst I am not a vegetarian, I really love creating dishes than are predominantly vegetable based and you will find a lot of my posts are vegetarian.

Most of my posts will not be my own recipes but I do often tend to vary recipes slightly, whether it be an inspired thought or lack of ingredients in the cupboard and will do my utmost to give credit where credit is due. My aim is to share and inspire, not to claim ideas as my own.

I’m a huge believer at food being a healer and that the world should be far more conscious of what we feed our bodies. This is a huge topic of debate and one I claim to be no expert on, nor do I have the inclination for this blog to be a place to preach from. That being said food is my biggest pleasure in life so whilst on a day to day basis I eat a healthy diet, I like to indulge every now and then. A lot of these indulgences are far more exciting to post about and you’ll find the majority of my posts will be these. I do try to educate myself on all ways of eating and would like to share any insights I do find along the way. I’ve recently decided to eat in a more ‘clean’ and thoughtful way, so a lot of my recipes will be gluten/dairy/refined sugar free.

  2. I agree with you, whole foods should be eaten because they contain natural properties that contribute to good health! People are too dependent on medicine to make their health troubles go away, it’s so sad! Nice blog!

    • Absolutely, it is so upsetting that so many health issues are brought on my a poor diet. I am all for medicine when it is actually needed but people could change so many things just by eating a nutritious, whole diet. Excited to have found your blog and look forward to reading it 🙂
